ABOUT RABBI JOHN GODRE
Allow me to share a little about the journey that has profoundly shaped my life and purpose. My name is Rabbi John Godre, and I’ve been happily married to Adrienne for many years; together, we’ve built a beautiful lineage of three wonderful children, though we sadly lost our fourth in 2024, and we are blessed with countless grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren who bring immense joy. Professionally, I am an ordained minister, dedicated to teaching the profound meanings and symbolisms of Hebrew letters for over twenty-five years, a passion deeply rooted in my heritage as my maternal grandparents hailed from Warsaw, Poland, and both my paternal grandparents came from Budapesti, Hungary, all of them Jewish. My personal walk with the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus, began on a transformative day, March 9, 1986, and I have been following Him steadfastly ever since. Indeed, my ultimate quest is to guide others to the Light through the wisdom of Hebrew, a path that has led me to profound freedom in following our Father in Heaven through His Son, directed by His Holy Spirit
ABOUT Rabbi Jim "Yakkov" Becka
Jim “Yaakov” Becka spent his early life in Temple, Texas, which is ironic considering his dad’s family were Temple priests in Jerusalem and the name “Becka” means “Half Shekel” (I.E., The yearly Temple Tithe paid by Jews in ancient times).
After high school graduation (in Beaumont, Texas) he lived in East Jerusalem and began learning Hebrew. After returning to the United States he received his undergraduate degree in journalistic writing from Lamar University and graduate degrees in education and research from The University of Texas and University of Houston.
He has authored numerous articles for research and education journals and authored a popular technology book for teachers. Married with two children, a dog, and four cats.
