Letter 2- GimelLesson

In our previous two letters, we learned about the א Aleph, which represents G-d the Father, and the בּ Bet, whose name means ‘house’ and represents יֵשׁוּעַ Yeshua, G-d ‘housed’ in the flesh.  We are going to look at a different view of the letter we are about the explore which is the ג Gimel.  But here, we will see the רוּחַ הַקוֹדֶשׁ  Holy Spirit

being represented.  Then we will explore the other side of this letter in a bit.

Let’s go on a journey into the new testament and look at a man whose identity is completely ‘wrapped up’ in the  ג Gimel.  His name is John the Baptiser.

Many of us are familiar with the scriptures about this man.  We are aware of how the people in charge wanted to know why he was baptizing people and was asked who and by what authority he was doing such things.  His answers were always..no..I am not He.  However, he would say that he was the voice of one calling in the desert, ‘make straight the way for the Lord.  And ‘the Lamb of G-d who takes away the sin of the world’.

He was G-d’s voice dressed in camel skin, preaching in the desert….and people responded.

Now watch carefully with me as I draw your attention to something that is crucial to our understanding of John, his ministry, and the secret of one side of the ג Gimel

Our messiah, whether He comes to a nation or to an individual  לֵב lev, heart, ..watch now…must have a forerunner.  Even as G-d prepared a world in 6 days for the reception of man, he also commands us to prepare ourselves for the reception of G-d.
