Definition: Here is the next word, which is the word בַּיִת bayit — house. This is a very interesting word because, if we don’t realize it by now, we are the house, the Temple of the Holy Spirit. So, breaking this word down we see first off, the letter ב Bet. Usually, when placed in front of a word, it relates to “in the.” After explaining this feature, this letter ב Bet also has the symbolism of — you guessed it — a house. Going to the next letter we see the י Yod, which symbolizes the Hand of G-d. As we should all know by now, the last letter is a ת Tav, which symbolizes the covenant, cross, and a sign. Can you put all this together? G-d, י Yod, is pointing our temple, ב Bet, toward His Son, ת Tav. Let’s apply the gematria. The ב Bet carries the number 2, the י Yod carries the number 10 (or 1), and the ת Tav carries the number 400 (or 4). 2 + 1 + 4 = 7. What does the number 7 relate to?
